WordAppeal helps Lundbeck provide info and support for CNS disorder patients

    by Mathieu Fraissinet | 13 September 2012

The World Health Organization reports over 700 million annual cases of central nervous system (CNS) disorders such as depression, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. These illnesses have a significant impact on the lives of patients and their families.

To help them find answers to their questions, Lundbeck Laboratories and WordAppeal have launched 3 dedicated French-language websites: www.depression-infos.fr, www.alzheimer-infos.eu and www.parkinson-infos.fr.

Informative articles and videos give voice to experts, patients and their relatives. The content is structured around 3 main sections: "Understanding", "Living with" and "Assisting". E-newsletters and a YouTube channel complement the sites.

WordAppeal assisted Lundbeck throughout the project:

    • Analysis alongside editorial and digital positioning
    • Graphic design
    • Platform development (Drupal)
    • Production and content integration
    • Deployment of the SEO strategy (regular and paid
