    Digital Internal Communications prize for Pernod Ricard

    At the Communication & Entreprise Awards, Pernod Ricard and WordAppeal were pleased to accept the Prix d’Honneur in the “Internal Communications Digital Strategy” category for the MyPortal platform featuring Pernod Ricard Chatter.

    Composed of communications and media professionals, the Communications & Enterprise jury commended Pernod Ricard, assisted by WordAppeal (digital communications and premium content), on the innovative and unique nature of its new internal digital communications platform. The awards ceremony reunited 1,200 industry professionals at the Cirque d’Hiver in Paris on November 21, 2013.

    Named among Forbes’ top 20 most innovative companies, Pernod Ricard places digital technology at the heart of its innovation strategy. The worldwide co-leader in the wine and spirits industry, Pernod Ricard chose WordAppeal to spearhead the redesign of the Group’s intranet MyPortal, in addition to MyGroup, the information hub for its 18,800 employees.

    Helping each employee become a spokesperson for Pernod Ricard’s dynamism

    Centered on the latest news, MyGroup’s goal is two-fold: first, unite Pernod Ricard’s employees by sharing a common set of information and tools, and second, bring the Group’s values to life within the brand and market divisions, as well as the holding company. This strategic choice reflects the Group’s historic commitment to the principles of decentralization and conviviality. In order to improve the user experience, the Group’s employees can explore the site’s wide range of enhanced content such as infographics, visual data representations, and videos.

    Innovating to express the Group’s strong entrepreneurial spirit

    One of the unique aspects of the portal is the seamless inclusion of Pernod Ricard Chatter, an enterprise social network. Launched in late 2012, this tool enables employees to personalize their newsfeed and helps highlight and identify the best initiatives undertaken within the company, all while encouraging employee interaction. The portal’s ability to simplify knowledge sharing thereby drives and accelerates the innovation process.
