Tuesday, November 29, 2011, in partnership with BNP Paribas Wealth Management, Women Equity for Growth (WEG) announced its list of the top 50 women-run small- and medium-sized businesses (SME) in terms of growth. And WordAppeal took 11 ^th place! To compile the ranking, WEG collected and compared financial data for French SME (20 to 250 employees) in existence since at least 2006; required to pay business tax; posting revenue of more than €4 million for the 2007-2010 fiscal years; and having registered a minimum of three years of accounting records with the Commerce Registrar – more than 25,000 companies [SML1]. Nutriset, Maje, and Isabelle Marant claimed the top spots in the ranking.
