    Social networks and universities

    WordAppeal and Capgemini Consulting have co-published a study explaining how universities can best use social networks.

    Social networks can provide a platform for social interaction, information exchange and knowledge production—all part of any university’s mission. To date, however, most universities have not fully embraced these networks as tools to engage the public at large, academics and internal communities.

    This study aims to help institutes of higher education tap into the power of social networking.
