    The Top/Com Digital Grand Prize goes to My Portal, Pernod Ricard’s intranet!

    WordAppeal and Pernod Ricard have been awarded the Top/Com Digital Grand Prize for the redesign of the Group’s intranet, My Portal, marking one of the rare times an internal communications project walked away with this prestigious trophy.

    The Top/Com Grand Prize is one of France’s respected awards in the communications sector. In front of the select group of industry professionals gathered on February 6th at the emblematic Palais Brogniart, a jury of communications experts hailed My Portal as an innovative platform that encourages interaction and creative effervescence. The intranet features tools that promote unity and collaboration, highlight employee initiatives, and accelerate the innovation process. Pernod Ricard Chatter, an enterprise social network (ESN), is at the heart of this user-friendly information sharing.

    My Portal reflects the Group’s historic commitment to the principles of decentralization and conviviality, all the while helping each employee become a spokesperson for Pernod Ricard’s dynamism. Visually stunning and complete with videos, infographics, and engaging content, the intranet enables Pernod Ricard to solidify its position as one of the world’s most innovative companies.

    Laetitia Puyfaucher named "Femme en Or” 2013!

    The 21st annual "Femmes en Or" (Outstanding Women) Awards ceremony was held on December 14th in Avoriaz. These awards recognize women whose achievements over the past year in their respective fields represents a source of inspiration.

    Orange France, an official partner of the ceremony, presented Laetitia Puyfaucher, president of Pelham Media Ltd., with the award for “Outstanding Businesswoman.”

    Director of the famous Parisian theater house Comédie Française Muriel Mayette-Holtz, Wimbledon tennis champion Marion Bartoli, actress Catherine Frot, and journalist Wendy Bouchard were also among the honorees this year.

    This year, the jury chose to honor Laetitia’s numerous accomplishments, including her impressive academic career, her determination to constantly innovate and stand out in a highly competitive sector, and her rise to the top, becoming the leader of the premium brand content niche with her communications agencies WordAppeal and Pelham Media.

    Laetitia was honored to accept the award on behalf of her teams and her industry: “I would like to dedicate this award to my teams (past and present) who, I think, know how much it belongs to them as well. I would also like to take a moment to thank our clients, most of whom have been with us from the beginning of this adventure. I am also happy that this award recognizes the communications industry, a sector marked by a profound need for constant innovation, creativity, and temerity.”

    She is also the winner of the HEC women’s business award in 2011.

    Digital Internal Communications prize for Pernod Ricard

    At the Communication & Entreprise Awards, Pernod Ricard and WordAppeal were pleased to accept the Prix d’Honneur in the “Internal Communications Digital Strategy” category for the MyPortal platform featuring Pernod Ricard Chatter.

    Composed of communications and media professionals, the Communications & Enterprise jury commended Pernod Ricard, assisted by WordAppeal (digital communications and premium content), on the innovative and unique nature of its new internal digital communications platform. The awards ceremony reunited 1,200 industry professionals at the Cirque d’Hiver in Paris on November 21, 2013.

    Named among Forbes’ top 20 most innovative companies, Pernod Ricard places digital technology at the heart of its innovation strategy. The worldwide co-leader in the wine and spirits industry, Pernod Ricard chose WordAppeal to spearhead the redesign of the Group’s intranet MyPortal, in addition to MyGroup, the information hub for its 18,800 employees.

    Centered on the latest news, MyGroup’s goal is two-fold: first, unite Pernod Ricard’s employees by sharing a common set of information and tools, and second, bring the Group’s values to life within the brand and market divisions, as well as the holding company. This strategic choice reflects the Group’s historic commitment to the principles of decentralization and conviviality. In order to improve the user experience, the Group’s employees can explore the site’s wide range of enhanced content such as infographics, visual data representations, and videos.

    Innovating to express the Group’s strong entrepreneurial spirit

    One of the unique aspects of the portal is the seamless inclusion of Pernod Ricard Chatter, an enterprise social network. Launched in late 2012, this tool enables employees to personalize their newsfeed and helps highlight and identify the best initiatives undertaken within the company, all while encouraging employee interaction. The portal’s ability to simplify knowledge sharing thereby drives and accelerates the innovation process.

    Elior.com: Top/Com d’Or 2013

    WordAppeal and Elior have been awarded the Top/Com d’Or 2013 for the elior.com website redesign.

    The Top/Com d’Or is one of France’s leading communications awards. A jury of communications experts hailed Elior’s new site as an innovative communications platform. Designed to give a voice to customers, partners and other stakeholders, the website truly reflects the Group’s brand promise: “because the whole experience matters”. Strikingly visual and complete with videos, interviews and testimonials, the website enables Elior to solidify its position as a leader in the contract food service industry by fully reflecting its values and commitment to hospitality, well-being and customer service.

    Congratulations to the teams involved in managing and launching the website in less than 8 months!

    WA 11th in the 2011 Women Equity Index

    Tuesday, November 29, 2011, in partnership with BNP Paribas Wealth Management, Women Equity for Growth (WEG) announced its list of the top 50 women-run small- and medium-sized businesses (SME) in terms of growth. And WordAppeal took 11 th place! To compile the ranking, WEG collected and compared financial data for French SME (20 to 250 employees) in existence since at least 2006; required to pay business tax; posting revenue of more than €4 million for the 2007-2010 fiscal years; and having registered a minimum of three years of accounting records with the Commerce Registrar – more than 25,000 companies [SML1]. Nutriset, Maje, and Isabelle Marant claimed the top spots in the ranking.

    2011 e-reputation award!

    On November 23, 2011, Air France and WordAppeal earned the prize for best e-reputation campaign as part of the 25th Grand Prix Communication & Entreprise – UJJEF awards.

    The jury, composed of communications professionals, particularly noted the work done by Air France and the agency during the 2010-2011 snowstorms. “Air France was able to create a veritable e-reputation hub on its Facebook page, with responses in about 10 different languages,” the jury explained. “The company’s editorial voice found a subtle balance between corporate tool and business support.”

    With 800,000 fans, Air France is the top European company on Facebook, and third globally. The award reinforces Air France’s strategy across its social media platform. In an official press release, François Brousse, Air France Communications Director, stated: “This award… confirms our innovative, adapted strategy to use these new tools to communicate with our customers.”

    WordAppeal, partnering with the airline for nearly 10 years, is proud of this award and thanks the Air France teams for their confidence.

    Laetitia Puyfaucher wins HEC women’s business award!

    Laetitia Puyfaucher was presented with the 2011 Trajectoires HEC au Féminin prize in a ceremony at the Cinématèque Française, attended by 300 guests.

    The award, created in 2007, highlights the careers of some of the nearly 12,000 female graduates of France’s HEC business school. This year’s nominees were Nicole Arditti (‘76), head of Lazard Frères; Catherine Damesin (‘79), managing director of Vulcania; and Laetitia Puyfaucher (‘97).

    The 20-person jury was composed of people committed to gender equality across all levels of society; representatives from HEC corporate partners (such as Boston Consulting Group, GDF SUEZ, KPMG, LVMH, Sanofi Aventis and Sodexo); and members of the HEC community.

    “I’m really honoured to receive this award, especially considering the impressive careers of the other nominees, and those of all HEC degree-holders in general,” Laetitia said before thanking Maison Arthus-Bertrand for the attractive medal and Stéphane Baschiera, CEO of Veuve Clicquot, for the magnificent jeroboam of champagne. “I’d like to dedicate this award to the WordAppeal and Pelham teams, and I wish to thank all our clients for putting their faith in us. In particular, I’d like to thank the event’s sponsors, GDF SUEZ and Sodexo, with whom we have worked for many years.”
